The aim of scientific day is to raise awareness and enhance preparedness regarding the potential health impacts of regional nuclear leakage, with a focus on risk assessment, surveillance, and emergency response strategies.

Objectives:

By the end of this scientific day, participants will be able to:

• Explore the sources and environmental pathways of possible nuclear leakage.

• Define short- and long-term health consequences of radiation exposure.

• Examine the role of occupational and environmental health professionals in monitoring, responding to, and managing nuclear-related public health threats.

• Adopt positive attitude towards best practices for self-protection and preparedness in the event of nuclear leakage.
